I'm pretty sure I mentioned here how my wife convinced me to get a laser engraver last year. Thing is it is so big and heavy and I have not used it as much as I should. Also my interests lay mainly in making slate coasters. My partner isn't interested now so its a heavy paperweight. Then I saw the sculpts that could be done in K-9 glass. In a blast of inspiration I thought oooohhhhh I like that. And I caved in to the dark side and got 2 new laser engravers. The XTools F2 and the XTools F2 Ultra UV. The F2 is portable so I could take it to the Farmers Market and do personalized engraving there if I wanted. The F2 Ultra UV is the one I am excited to start using. The F2 has a 5W IR and a 15W Diode dual lasers while the F2Ultra UV has a UV cold laser.

I heard of usding it to make PCBs and I am wondering about making PE.

My Makura CNC is coming with a laser engraving head. It should be here maybe late this month or early next month as they have started shipping. I bought in on the first day of the kickstarter and was still 2741 in line. I later upgraded to a better version for a small additional.
Not really sure where I am going to put it, but going to have to get into learning mode soon.
