Knowing how you like pictures here are a few that are unusual taken at Duxford UK. I have hundreds but i have tried to pick the ones that you are unlikely to see in the USA normally.
Vulcan XJ824 joined the RAF in 1961, retired 1982, now lives indoors at Duxford.
TSR2 Was to be our F111 but controversially scrapped in 1965 just before it was actually completed
The underside of Concorde showing how smooth the whole thing was apart from the engines that were actually from the Vulcan i think
a Bristol Beufighter under construction/restoration in the duxford workshops
A skyraider ( i think)
An Early P51
An HE111 in the paint shop, prob a Spanish CASA left here from the B of B film
i never know what these are
toma, kitty or War hawk ?
This was interesting, the guy in the bottom picture is wearing the jacket above. What really strikes home is all these jackets were tiny.....These guys were just out of school , i could not of even got an arm down a sleeve of one of these.
Outside a Tigercat was starting up ;-)
Right we need a bucket of Tamiya XF81 and some humbrol Sky....
