Here are the pictures of the recently finished 1/72 scale Hasegawa 'Ostwind'.
For such a small model it went together pretty well, even the much hated 'rubber' tracks were as big a problem as feared.
The camo and markings are fictional, I really doubt if any of the Ostwinds had disc camo on them.
The camouflage pattern was airbrushed freehanded including the disc camo on the turret, I wanted to see if the disc scheme could be airbrushed.
In 1/72 scale it was not a great success but I feel in 1/35 scale it could be done.
Lets see the P-51's and P-47's try and attack my airfield now! They will pay a price if they do. :laugh:
