So many fine models here, what a group!
I didn't think I built too many models this year but I guess I did. Didn't do very much R/C building though.
Fine Molds 1/48 A5M4
Fine Molds 1/48 A7M Reppu
Academy 1/72 GMC CCKW 353
Tamiya 1/48 GMC Fuel Truck
Tamiya/Gasoline 1/48 Bomb Truck
Tamiya 1/48 Kurogane
Tamiya/Legend 1/35 Tank Retriever
Tamiya 1/32 F-15C. I built three of these this year, all inflight, two C's and one F-15E. The last two await decals. A 1/8 square shaft of key stock suipports the model, inserted inside a square brass tube the runs from the tailhook to the front between the engine fans. The keystock is cloned out for this photo.
Monogram/Gerry Asher 1/48 P-80A-1
Tamiya 1/48 F-84G
Tamiya 1/48 Mitsubishi G4M1 Betty
Italeri 1/72 Horsa
Hasegawa J2M6, 1/48
Fine Molds 1/48 Mitsubishi Ka-14, the prototype for the A5M.
Monogram 1/48 Me-109E, a kit originally built in 1965 and refurbished this year.
Tamiya 1/72 P-47D
Airfix 1/72 P-51D
Accurate Miniatures 1/48 P-51A.
Planet 1/48 PT-19
Monogram 1/48 SNJ-3
Valom 1/72 YFM-1 Airacuda
Then there are some I did with my grandson Alex, who turned 5 this year. Each model is done more by him and less by me.
Meng Kids B-17G
Monogram 1/48 F4U-4 and Alex
Aurora/Atlantis HUP-2, 1/48.
Hawk 1/48 F-84G. Decals from the Tamiya kit.
With grandson Isaac. I'll have a picture of Isaac on the day he doesn't find a way to screw up the picture! He's 6 now. He insisted this was the proper paint scheme for his HUP-2, and he made me shake hands on the agreement to paint it that way. Well, a contract is a contract...
And finally a Revell 1/32 F4F-4 done with my granddaughter Audrey. Next up for her is a Revell 1/72 PBY. Audrey is 8.
