1/72 Middle East Street

Oh wow totally kewl! I had no idea they offered this, I may have to do something similar with an idea I've rolling around for awhile now!

Made just a little bit of progress. I challenged myself to finish this this weekend. Well I made progress.

I hand painted on some lettering on the signs

I drilled some holes in the floors and then used some copper wire for rebar.

I did the same with the base in the areas of piled debris.

I scratch built some utility line pieces (I have no idea what to call them when they are not poles) from styrene strip, stretched sprue and Granit line bolts. I added propaganda from the Syrian Civil War.

I scratch built from sheet styrene parts of the collapsed floor. I need to add something to it.

Test fit all together. I tested out placement of scraps of styrene painted dark brown.

That's were it is at.

In all the crazy that my Dirt Dimond Girl has us in, I've been finding time here and there for some work on this project.

I strung the utility lines from thin copper wire painted dark gray. I made and painted a couple window frames. I also chopped some styrene strip to make title for the broken parts on the floor. I took some pictures while a messing around with the placement of the T-72
