1:6 TAMIYA Harley-Davidson FLH Classic

OHHH!!! Pressure!

OK Randy, watch close because i'm going to want a lot of feed back on this.

I've been looking over the instructions on this, I'm really thinking I need to get started to have it ready by Christmas. May start this weekend. I'm skipping the chain idea as it's called for very early on.

Other Tamiya bikes I've seen you could build in assemblies like the real thing. Should be easy to do that and paint the assemblies separately Bob. Looking forward to this.

Strictly out of box Eric. I've never done one of these and I don't know what to expect so getting off the game plan is not in the future with this one. I have to have it ready for Christmas so I don't need to go down the creative license road only to hit a road block.

I think striping the chrome will be the first order of business.

I was just ribbing ya' Bro !! I'm lookin forward to this ! I know you'll knock it outta th Park. As for th thread that you linked to this build - The Green Sparkle Harley. That Bike was painted with AlClad & is featured on AlClad's website ( not sure if you knew that). It's a Beautiful Bike !! I'm sure that you will do this Big Hog Justice !!

Hey can We get a Big Hog emo-con ? It would look perfect right here !! Just th Head ... head-on snortin' :D

:drinks

I did not realize that was a featured Alclad job. May have to look at your Alclad chroming scheme again. I understand you caused a bit of a stir when you took your chrome panther out in public!

Well, the Mayans run out of time in 2012. Guess it'll have to be pretty soon or they'll never get to see it :popcorn :popcorn :popcorn

I built one of the Harley kits about 14 years ago, and from what I remember, it was a great kit. I'd love to build another one, now that I feel I've managed to improve my modeling skills.

This was the kit I built.
