1/48th Scale P-51D Five Way Comparison, is it of interest?

According to Google this thread is trending.
For you stalkers, if you want to see more, register and reply here! I still have the five kits and can add SO MUCH MORE!

Cool! I think I had forgotten about this thread. I have a couple of P-51s in the stash, a B by Trumpeter and a D by Dragon (?) Both in 1/32nd of course.
Well, I only have the Dragon and Tamiya kits in that scale. We all know that the Dragon one falls EXTREMELY short! Supposedly, the Revell new tool kit falls under the recent & decent category. Eduard plans to re-enter 32nd scale with a P-51B though....

The new 1/32nd scale Eduard kits are going to be a mix of printed cockpit and parts and molded styrene parts. I don't remember what they are calling them, but they are supposed to be much better detail and the printed parts actually tend to cost less than the expensive molds needed in order to even get part of the detail of printing.

I like the P-51… I have the A-36, RAF/51A by accurate mini’s a couple of Tamiyas, and 4 Eduard kits and Lots of extra decals…All 1/48

One of the Tamiyas is set for a local build the same kit contest…

I too have the Accurate Miniatures kits, those with sharkmouth schemes, along with the ICM clone of the Tamiya P-51B kit. The new Eduard P-51B/C kit is very nice too.
