A few more parts were added and the lift pistons are next. The gun is just placed a on the chassis. It might look totally acurate, but at least looks the part. Gary S.

I knew you were going for impression rather than accuracy which is why I didn't bother to do measurements of the scale barrel I have. If you want, I can still give you the measurements.
It is looking good as is and I applaud your build.

I thick the gun is completed and I also added rifling to the inside of the barrel with a coarse screw that fit just right. Hope it shows up when painted silver. Now on to the rest of the kit.

Yesterday, the gun was painted brick red that will work as a primer color. I think it makes it look more believable . Gary S.

The seats and transmission are installed and the tedious task of cleaning up the inner set of rode wheel is almost completed. The front sprocket drives and rear idle's are assembled. Gary S.

Used strips of plastic card to cover gaps in the underside over the tracks. Installed the muffler and exhaust pipes. Gary S.

Modified the barrel travel lock to a larger size and added a few more parts. Then I decided to punish myself and cut off the tie downs and replace them with small bits of wire like was done on the Nashorn. A tarp and camo net will be added and the fu paws won't show as much.

In order for the gun to seat I had to build an extension to the floor plate like was done on the Nashorn model. All of the gun shields are installed. The gun is not attached yet. Gary S.

What about the barrel thickness? Maybe slide a smaller diameter tub in there or are you even worried about that.

Yeah I was talking about the bore. but after seeing Sauls photo it's not that far off.
