1/24 Sutton Harness

Leopard2

Active member
Does anyone know of a dealer in the US that carries 1/24 RAF Sutton Harness from either RB Models or MDC?

Thanks,

Joe

Not sure about US dealers, why not just get it from the source? I've ordered several times from RB Productions with no problems.

Greetings Joe;

..... a lot of time when I am dealing with British, or Commonwealth
aircraft detail sets, I find a beater selection of components, by
looking at the British dealers.

On decals, resin, & PE sets, they do not weigh that much;
so the postal charges are not that steep. But, if you live in the
States, buy your model kits here, the postal charges will eat you
alive, if not.

Mike, I ordered Stuff from Accurate Armour before and this seatbelt comes from Poland I think. As far as models are concerned, you are right. Not is the poastage high but the models tend to be more expensive as well.

Off the top of my head, i've ordered from RB Productions, http://www.radubstore.com Bob's Buckles http://www.bobsbuckles.co.uk/ and someone else. No problems to speak of. I'll do it again given half the chance.

Agree with MP, Bobs Buckles is a great postal service.
The problem in the UK is kit prices, we seem to pay the same in £'s as you pay in $'s so that makes up about 20% more expensive straight away. Overseas postage has rocketed since the post office changed postage calculations from weight to size. so a larger box cost a lot more than a smaller box even if its lighter.

As an aside, i used the 1/24 pe Sutton harness on a Spitfire a while back and i strongly recommend at that scale you use the buckles but cut the straps from very fine material, silk or something like that because PE just doesn't hang right and looks like PE :)

Nice, the silk would give it that natural hang, that's cool! Added to the Hobby Lobby list. :mpup
