I used frog tape coated in thin CA. My antenna is 9 scale ft. It only has 3 sections of 3' lengths? Would the green be at the tip?

I found this out yesterday. It makes sense, since it's so long. Thanks for the reference pics! 👍 I'll be re-doing mine.

I have the added 30 cal gun sitting where the one on the "Fury" tank is mounted. Problem is when the gun is swung around the ammo box hits the spot light. In the Fury pic the spot light has been removed. I'm not doing the "Fury" movie tank, but it's the only clear pic I've seen so far as to...

The crap I get myself into... The seam lines on the antenna mount was just to much to remove from the spring, so I cut it off and made one from wire. The 9ft whip antenna is from stretched sprue.

Still have things to finish up on it. I figure a couple weeks before primer.

Added the 30 cal mount to the top of the turret. I want both of them displayed armed so the ammo boxes will need extra work.

Yep. You can't have the "Baron" without "Dick the Bruiser" (Vintage wrestling reference) 😆

Adding texture to the turret. I'm looking at the antenna mounts. Theres two, one behind the loader hatch and the other behind the cupola. The kit has placing the larger mount behind the loaders hatch, but I've also seen it behind the commander's cupola?

I hadn't asked yet. I was a bit surprised finding the answer took as long as it did, though. One diagram I came across had it listed as a "Bracket" 😆

I about stepped on one the other day, didn't see it...very effective camo 😆

Thanks KLOTZEN! I see what Takom was trying to replicate now. I've fixed mine and it looks more like the one in these pics 👍

The kit's turret does have a hint of cast texture but not near enough. These screenshots from a walkaround vid by #Sofilein shows a much different look. So I'll be doing some of that. BTW, after much searching I've finally found out what the brackets welded on the back of the turret is for.

The back side is flat. I thought it looked questionable. As I stated pics of the real ones doesn't show it. Every photo I've seen of the Andy's/Takom kit builds as it. I'm removing it. Thanks for the help!!

This is the hatch on the turret side. Is it supposed to have this offset round bulge? I don't see this in photos of the real ones.

Amazing work 👏 I sacrificed my sharp chisel blade to fix something my Stepdaughter needed done. She'll never know how much that hurt me...🫣😆

I'm not working through any injuries so I'm not complaining. Where our place is you're still flipping water off of your shoes in the grass till mid afternoon.

Chipping away at it. Nothing exciting other than finally getting the tracks done...YAY! The headlight guards in this kit proved to be a bit tricky. I did drill out the bolt holes on the track fenders I'm guessing they were for the skirts? Also bent up the rear mud guards as well as the exhaust...

I chased the press fit link on the P III..., so I know...haha. This one is easy to see and I'm leaving the bent hook thats easy to grab onto till the very end!
