    The canopy mask are off and cleaned up. Considering what poor fit it started out with, I think it came out ok. Gary S.

    The mask on the canopy was removed and required some clean up. Though adout drilling a hole in the canopy for the antenna wire but changed my mind. Who am I trying to impress anyway. My contest days are over and not all of my models have them either. Gary S.

    Yea, we did the same thing with our Cobras in Nam. We used Johnson floor paste wax to shine them up. Gary S.

    The one photo that I have of this particular aircraft shows minimal weathering, so that's how it's going to be done. I used oils to create the exhaust and gun stains. Gary S.

    Yesterday a flat coat was sprayed on and because the panel lines were too shallow to accept any wash, I used a pencil and just the sticky part of a post it note as a straight edge to bring them out. Then the flaps were installed. Gary S.

    The decals are all on and a satin clear coat was sprayed on. On the real aircraft, the gloss paint didn't stay glossy very long. Gary S.
