    A6M5 Zero and Ki-61 Tony

I decided to just do these two kits and to combine them into one thread to maeby simplify space. The Zero is a Mitsubishi built airframe and in not sure as to the color difference of the Nakajima ones as far as the cockpit and camo. On the Tony, the instructions say to paint it overall IJA Lt...

    Having trouble deciding.

Any offers before I decide to build it? Thanks. I think I fixed the warpage by gentle bending. This morning I looked over the parts and there's a lot of detail. Photo etch and white metal parts along with injected parts. I'm thinking of starting the Zero and only the Hasagawa Tony and leaving...

    Having trouble deciding.

I don't think there was any absolute color for any of their cockpits. We are just going to have to SWAG it. So how many $ would that be? Gary S.

    Having trouble deciding.

    Having trouble deciding.

I can't decide which Japanese aircraft to build for my next project. There are three to choose from. All are in 1/48th scale. They are Revell's very basic A6M5 Zero, Hasagawa's excellent Ki-61 Tony and a very rare Tony by Right Staff. It is a resin kit with a lot of multi media. The wing has a...

The rockets are attached and the position lights are painted. The napalm tanks are done along with igniter's that Rich B. suggested. I need to pop the gear doors before attaching them. Gary S.

The canopy mask are off and cleaned up. Considering what poor fit it started out with, I think it came out ok. Gary S.

Korean War F-51D 1/48th scale by Tamiya

The mask on the canopy was removed and required some clean up. Though adout drilling a hole in the canopy for the antenna wire but changed my mind. Who am I trying to impress anyway. My contest days are over and not all of my models have them either. Gary S.
