Looking at that picture of the engine, those rocker cover nuts look awful.....its funny how you have to take a picture of things before you see problems.. I wonder if i could sand them down and fit some other nuts..or bolts without F,ing the whole thing up .

Yea that can work well, i did that on a previous car build with a Flat red and gloss coat. I might try satin black and Gloss clear as the satin will give a smoother base coat.

I made a mock up of what i need to hold the Magnetos. i cant finalise it until i get the engine mounted and see where the steering column runs, then i can work out a bracket to hold it or adapt the magneto bracket to do the job I have been experimenting with an aluminium finish, this is MRP...
