The painting is done and the ambush scheme is applied. I imagine that the guys that camped their tanks were just guys that just wanted to get the job done, go about their business of surviving the war and go home. Not some artsy fartsy modeler. l also took my razor saw and partially separated...

The upper and lower hulls are glued together. The fit was pretty good. Before gluing the hulls a small screen was glued inside of a small opening. I think it's an engine air intake. Gary S.

From what I understand, the earlier ones were a greenish gray on the lower surfaces and later were left in primmer color. Some were sent to the front in primmer allover or gray.

Final coat of dark yellow was brushed on including the road wheels. Also included is the Monogram kit built back in the 90's. It was my first tank model built as an adult. It's a Frankenstein D model. It had the older type of commander hatch that I scratch built the newer one. So it could be a...

Painted several coats of my custom mix of dark yellow made from craft paint. The engine hatch needs a second coat, the road wheels are yet to be painted and the tank needs a little touching up. Gary S.
