    2cm Flakvierling 38 auf Selbstfahrlafette Sd.Kfz.7/1

Excellent choice Dario. That engine begs to be detailed, are you going to do it? And don't worry too much for the tires, I would bet that once in place nobody will be able to see the seam line. Ruben

    My scratch built tank

Thanks for the compliments guys, I'm glad you are enjoying it as much as I do. Dave that idea of the markings for the hydraulics is a good one, I'll roam through my stash of decals for something useful. And for those of you that feel the urge to do something like this; go ahead. Maybe we'll...

    My scratch built tank

Thanks for the comments guys. Well I finally had some time to work on it again so I applied the decals, painted the hydraulics, the tools (base color), the hull machine gun, periscopes and applied a little rust to the exhausts. I also put in place the hydraulic hoses. Here are the results...

Very nice build, it loks very good! The only thing that bothers me is the sagging of the tracks; I think it is too much. Ruben

    Ruben's DML Jagdtiger

Thanks Moon Puppy and Gary. Gary, the tracks and road wheels and everything else is permanently glued. The fit of the parts is so loose that I had to glue everything or take the risk of ending up with misaligned tracks. Ruben

    Ruben's DML Jagdtiger

Well friends, here is a small update. I glued the road wheels, sprockets, idlers and tracks and let the tracks set for a while. Then I glued the tracks to the wheels to give them their final form. The back received some extra treatment. I did the welds and decorated the jack block and the...

    Ruben's DML Jagdtiger

Thanks Raiderfan, it is the old Dragon Jagdtiger with Henchel suspension. I think it is the first one that Dragon released but I don't remember the catalog number right now. Ruben

    Ruben's DML Jagdtiger

Hi fellow modelers. It is time to start the build! And to start, the requisite date-stamped photo. A close up of the date. As always the first step is the most tedious so it's the one that should be done quickly. Here are all the wheels, sprockets and idlers cleaned and ready. Also the...
