Looks much nicer and "cleaner". That is a very good kit IMO. Good luck and see you in the finish line. Cheers Alex

    OMG It's got a sharkmouth 1/72 Tamiya P-51D!

Good luck John. As I mentioned in Dave's thread there are some neat "uniques" schemed for the F-51s, I really like the Latin American variants. Cheers Alex

Happy belated birthday Mark! I am happy you had a good time. Certainly you have made a lot of progress in you models. Are you really going for an An-225 kit? Probably 1/32 I guess... Good luck with your other biggies. I guess I could do an An-124 too. If it were 1:700! Cheers Alex

    Savoia-Marchetti Sm.81 Pippistrello in 1/72

You are absolutely right. That is what has always fascinated me in Italian WWII planes. Such unique designs. What a shame they did not work properly (undermotorized, undergunned, small payloads) but still my favorites. Thanks for looking.

    Lockheed XFV-1

What he said. Outstanding, what an archeological restauration. Congratulations.

    Another Sharkmouth

Very nice Dave! How about some latin american decals for that bird? Good luck I will be watching. Cheers!

    1/72 Fiat CR.42 Falco - Vigna di Valle I - COMPLETED

Italeri kits are much better than Revell IMO. This is a new re-issue of a kit from the early 2000's which was a new mold. Very sharp and pleasant to assemble. I am a big fan of Italeri (national pride, I am an Italian citizen), and have many of them assembled/on stash. I would recommend!

    Macchi Mc.200 and Mc.202 dioramas in 1/72

Thanks a lot. Indeed it looked hump-backed but astoundingly the Saetta (Mc.200) had an amazing aerodynamic performance. Mario Castoldi (the Ingenieur) was a genius in that sense, the only problem was the shitty engine with only 850 Hp. He basically kept the same plane (200) and changed the...

    Savoia-Marchetti SM.79 AS Sparviero in 1/72

Thanks a lot again! I am sorry I haven't replied sooner, as I said not easy. Thanks so much for remembering my birthday @Heavens Eagle! 2021 has been even more difficult than 2020, but at lease I am fully immunized now so I am hoping that I can continue working without so many risks. Thankfully...

    Macchi Mc.200 and Mc.202 dioramas in 1/72

Thanks Saul. These were part of another diorama a long time ago so that is why I did not mention. This is an ABM-42, an Italeri Kit from the 90's in 1/72. Figures are either CMK from the CZ Republic (www.cmkkits.com) or XO figures from the German train modelling company Märklin...

    der Spatzfalke! The operational Ho-229

Einfach ausgezeichnet! Dein Spatzfalke sieht einfach wunderschön aus. Really you are outdoing yourself Paul. Your weathering in the landing gear ist exquisite. I am sorry I missed it so far. Will be watching closely. Cheers Alex

    IJN BATTLESHIP MIKASA

Very nice Terry. Fast and furious part XII. Looking forward to the completion. I really like Japanese warships. Cheers Alex

Goodness gracious Mark that is one hell of a factory. You must own a house just for your models. If I ever attempted to buy and assemble that An-124 I would be looking at a very expensive divorce. Good luck I will keep watching. Cheers Alex

    Hasegawa 1/48 TF-104

Good luck. How about a nice Italian Starfighter? Although I guess those were F-104G... not sure. Cheers Alex

    B-17G EARLY PRODUCTION

Wow x 10! That is really nice. Must be a huge model from what I gather from the pictures. Good luck, although you seem to have all well under control. Will be watching. Cheers Alex

    Savoia-Marchetti Sm.81 Pippistrello in 1/72

Rob, I absolutely support this idea. There are so many subjects for a SCW campaign, either nationalists or republicans, Condor Legion, Italian Expeditionary Force, Partisans... I am in!

    Savoia-Marchetti Sm.81 Pippistrello in 1/72

Thanks a lot guys. It was fun to paint. Still a bit rough, but at least not as thick as before. These Italian airplanes from WWII are delightful to paint and even more to train all these crazy cammos.

    1/72 Fiat CR.42 Falco - Vigna di Valle I - COMPLETED

Hi there folks, In continuing with my Italian streak I will enter the campaign with a little gem, an Italeri 1/72 Fiat Cr.42 Falco. I am adding as much PE as I can, since I simply cannot live without PE anymore I am trying to assemble a "series" of kits representing the aircraft exposed at the...

    Macchi Mc.200 and Mc.202 dioramas in 1/72

Hello all, Again I hope you are all well and healthy. As I mentioned before little time on my hands but I was able to finish some small dioramas. The first one is a desert scene of a Macchi Mc. 200 from the 3° Gruppo in North-Africa. Kit AML with PE and Resin, Vallejo Acrylics. The...
