Thank you very much guys ! @ MoonPuppy, the shattered glass was cut on the clear sprue and then scratched with a cutter blade giving angles to the scratches. A lot of these scratches and there you are ! @ Sharkmouth, you're right the blood & tissue must be darkened, I'll "fix" that. I know the...

M1A2 SEP Dragon 1/35 and skirts...

Hi, I've started this Abrams from Dragon. I want it to be a little different from all the M1s that are built out there on the net. I found one I have never seen depicted : http://www.toadmanstankpictures.com/abrams.htm I have no idea of the unit, and only know it is in Iraq circa 2005. Any...

    LRDG Chevy 1/35

Hi, Just one pic to show you the building rendering so far. It received some polyfilla coating, and when this started to dry, I textured it with an old toothbrush. It looks like some heavily raised roughcast, but this will be tamed by heavy sanding once dried. Regards, Richard

    LRDG Chevy 1/35

Hi, Thanks Ron, thanks sharkmouth. Yep I seen the sun dials, these are really cool, but I will not use them. I'll make a little diorama, nothing better than a little place in Lybia... The base is varnished plywood, 23 cm x 30 cm. I'll make a little "house" with the Chevy. I saw a beautiful...

    LRDG Chevy 1/35

Hi, Thank you for your kind words :) Ok, I consider the building process is over... Let's get some detail view first. Hussar Productions tyres show a surprising recess around the rim that I filled in with putty thinned with acetone. A fella french modeller already experienced the same so...

    LRDG Chevy 1/35

Hey, The carpets used to free the Chevy from sand bogging are well done by Tamiya, by 1976 standards ! I decided I had to change them. The ingredients are : Styrene sheet (0,25 mm thick), standard tape and lead foil I cut the styrene card to match the Tamiya parts' width, ie 13 mm, and...
