Metallic Details' 32nd Scale AH-1G Interior Set for ICM & Special Hobby

I bought the Metallic Details interior, along with several other sets, for my 32nd scale AH-1G builds. After owning several, this is the order I preferred them based on accuracy and value:
  1. Metallic Details
  2. MicroDetails
  3. Special Hobby's parts in their releases
  4. Eduard
  5. QuintaStudios
Only the first two recognized that the cockpit sidewalls on the kits were too high and instruct one to cut them down. Metallic Details offers 3D printed sidewalls with many details molded on while MicroDetails is all PE. Special Hobby's releases offer Eduard pre-painted PE along with CMK resin and 3D printed parts such as the turret sighting station (that pantograph stalk to which the turret is slaved) which is only offered in the Metallic Details set. Eduard is Eduard, just offering replacements which are not necessarily improvements. Quinta Studios was a waste of my money.

Easy choice then! Here is the first time I saw this set... I bought a second set. However, it came in a larger box, why?

for one, the 3D printed parts are not removed from their supports and are in dark resin (compare to the light resin from the earlier set). The seat belts are now in a die-cut white vinyl whereas it was a tan one (see below them). No other changes were made.

The dark resin does allow one to see the details incorporated much better than the light one.
