And on Ali Express I saw the Border Models (ex WNWs) Lancaster Bomber. It is the second version, the Dam Buster, but from revies it has all the parts to make the first version.

I have wanted one since I first heard of it but the cost was just too expensive. $1200 or more Cdn. This was less than half the cost and very cheap shipping so in a moment of insanity I ordered it. OMG but what a huge box it comes in. My wife asked if she could use it for a side table after telling me this was just going to be built by someone else seeing as I wont live long enough to finish all I have. Oh well. She'll probably flip when my 1/35 He 111 arrives in the next week.

@ jknaus Glad you were able to obtain one of the WNW Lancasters!

I just looked on AliExpress and they still have the MkI/MkIII kits for $672 or so US. No Damnbuster kits left I guess. I was happy to get the MarkI/III back when Andy got them in originally.
Also Kotare is having a sale with several of their kits marked down from $109 to $90.

Yeah I got the email, but I have 2 or three of each and dont need more. If you're looking for the Dambuster there is one on Amazon : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F18KCBHH?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1

Thanks James. I was just looking to see what their prices were out of curiosity. Not really interested in another extra large plane kit as I have too many already.

This came in the mail yesterday. I will be making it a wreck in russia or North Africa.

While a small bit smaller than the 1/32nd scale kits, that will be a big diorama.

Probably not much different to my 110G. The kit is very good value with a full interior and coming in at a much cheaper price than most of the other bombers.

I am waiting on three 1/16th scale kits as I have done the prepay with Andy's. I noticed that Squadron now has one of them in stock so that one should probably be arriving at Andy's sometime soon as well. I have really been enjoying the 1/16th builds I have been working on and am looking forward to hitting on more soon.
