Ukrainian dio components...

This one will eventually move into dioramas- but since it is just two tanks now it can wait...I am nearly done with the Ukrainian tank- bringing it to AMPS Nationals and getting the feedback helps me know what I need to work on for the diorama...

I will be using a mix of these two figure sets....

The other component to this is a T-72 wreck- I am basing on this photo:

Our resident Sharkmouth is being quite helpful with advice and photos- I have picked up the Verlinden engine compartment, Panzerart burnt out wheels and Panzerwerk Design 3D tracks which are my new obsession...

I don't think we've had a good knocked out subject here in a while.

Well that is because what @Jeeves is modeling is a tank empty of fuel and ammunition. Remember, this is usually the result when it has ammunition and fuel, the infamous turret toss:

Famous now thanks to the Trumpeter kit but click to see the 2022 turret toss inspiring this box art:

Record holding T-90M:

Looking at the reference photo, there was no massive toss but I'd say the turret was definitely displaced as its partially resting on the engine deck. Maybe just a little burp of an explosion?
