    Broplan 1/72 vac. ATR 42 300

No beer guy, on meds. :p: Chris, that's the KA I did for Mike in Calgary, in Dome Pete paint, but Aklan Air titles. J-Bot did a nice set of decals. If I can ever finish those freakin SeaBees I have another Twin Beech for Slate Falls on deck. Guess I'll have to call that one the long lost...

    Broplan 1/72 vac. ATR 42 300

Way to go guy!! Fine job. I haven't been doing anything, well sporadic work on two SeaBees for the Yukon Air Force. I have a pinched sciatic nerve in my right butt cheek, can't sit but for a few minutes at a time. That's why I haven't posted anything for the last while.

    Grandson of Beech

Thanks for the kind comments fellas, much appreciated. :thumbsup John, that was an A-90. Here's a few pics of the model with its brethren (sisteren?) Looks right at home with the rest of the fleet I built.

    Grandson of Beech

Thank you all for the kind comments, much appreciated. :thumbsup John, I contacted the guy who flew it and the pitots were under the wing on this one about halfway out to the tip, just behind the deicer boot. Go figure. Anyway stick a fork in her, she's done. The props, antennas, and...

    Grandson of Beech

There is light at the end of the tunnel and it ain't ol' 97. I do believe this will be a presentable model, once I get the props on and the wheels in the wells. J-Bot outdid himself on the decals, and they went on without a hitch. Jim's decals are full sheet, which means one must cut them as...

    Grandson of Beech

Thanks for the kind comments fellas. Christian, if your friend was transitioning from the Sword, it was most likely to the Beechjet 400, a nice little short range airplane. It was originally a Mitsubishi design, I believe. <<I'm not trying to hump your leg!>> Momma don't allow no leg humpin'...

    Grandson of Beech

Thanks for the kind comments fellas. :thumbsup John, the nose does look a little too pointed for a 90, but after a bit of fettling with some sandpaper... Christian, I've never flown a King Air, got a bit of time on a Queen Air, one of the early ones. Always thought it was underpowered...

    Two KLM birds

Great work Uros. I really like that F-70, which was really a F-28 with RR Tays in place of the Speys on the 28. :bgrin There used to be a local carrier, Intair, that operated the F-100 out of here. Great airplane. Did you mix your own blue for those, or was it off the shelf? Reason I ask...

    Grandson of Beech

Well, I've done Beech, namely this one... ...And Son of Beech... …So what's left except Grandson of Beech? Grandson of Beech will be a King Air C-90, one of the first editions of the long running King Air series from Beechcraft. (I think they're up to the series 350 now.) It will be a...
