Is there such a thing as over detailing ? my phone camera zooms in close but perhaps too close as the paintwork looks awful but much better when zoomed out or even to the naked eye

I see you use AK Gouache paint. I didn't know that was even a thing! They call it Acrylic Gouache, which is also new to me. How does it handle? Like, once dry is it waterproof like acrylic? In my art supply store we sell gouache as an opaque watercolor and it can be reconstituted or manipulated with water when dry. We carry Winsor Newton and M. Graham brands. I am curious how AK works and how I would market it and educate its use to customers.

It handles really well for subtle shading and effects. i followed some youtube videos explaining application. I tend to stay away from oils etc as the thinner effects my chest. So I use acrylics in their many forms as much as possible of course I do use oils but very sparingly !
