Check out all that mud splatter on that one. What is it, "Damn Yankee"? I contend that if displayed in the correct setting it'll pass the pinlight test. I think I'd give it a go!

It does say, Damn Yankee and I believe it is a stateside trainer. Serial 42-76099 is a P-47D-16-RE. Tamiya still makes the best Razorback P-47D.

I have been thinking it was returned after being declared war-weary but I don't see the "WW" usually added to the serial. Great catch! It was still on my to do list.
