Christmas Wishes

Rhino, your first tree reminds me of one of our Christmas trees in Minnesota. It was our first year and things were tight and food was scarce. Our tree was a scraggly thing that reflected well our austere situation.

MP, I also consider the Peanuts Theme song a Christmas song too. The first time I ever heard it was during the "Charlie Brown Christmas" TV special. Good times.

Thanks James for the pics of a White Christmas; brings back memories of the ones I experienced in Minnesota...

No A/C here in So Cal; we've been in the low sixties during the day and low forties to high thirties at night. I should know; I just felt it coming home from Midnight Mass. Good thing my truck has an excellent heater! We got it all but the weather down here...

Merry Christmas everyone!

Can't ever remember sleeping with the windows open on Christmas Eve here in upstate NY, but we did it last night! Guess I won't be worrying about having enough firewood anymore...

Well it's about 65 degrees here in Texas, at 5:00 am, I saw a Cardinal yesterday, and the high was 77 ... not bragging but the grass is turning Green ... Our house is heated with Propane. We're down to 5 percent, and thinking We may not need to get any for awhile.

And since You folks up North, are sleeping with windows open ... the propane price may drop here in Texas. I'm not looking forward to tomorrow, as the snowball express is coming, and We'll get the white stuff on Sunday, temps will drop to 35 degrees can you say Blue Norther ?? I'll send ya'll a photo later today, (Sunup)and one on Sunday ...

I hope you all got what you wanted for Christmas, and a Merry Christmas to all !!!

Same here.

Traditional Swedish Christmas Eve, only instead of gathered in front of a roaring fire, we felt more like we were in the Sauna.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Merry Christmas Y'all!!! From Tornado torn Calif!! :blink None here near my place but, Near Folsom in Eldorado County to the north of us & another touched down in Ceres,CA just south of Modesto which tore up my cousin's yard, uprooted some trees & ripped shingles off her roof!! Now both twisters wereat best, 50 miles out from my place but, still... :frantic :frantic

That's kinda rare for CA ain't it Eddy?

Santa was pretty good here. Think I really shocked my Bride this time which should put me in good for getting some mega bench time in over the next several days. :coolio

My Bride surprised Me with some new Headlamps for my 'ol Truck ... :woohoo: (y) I've been thinking of Customizing the 'ol Girl, maybe I could do a 1 to 1 build for you fellers :hmmm

Merry Christmas everyone. Woke up with a doozy of a cold. So now just getting some brekky :( and a call from my oldest :yipee and then see whats under the tree. All the best to everyone.
James

70 degrees F here, headed for a high of 74, with scattered showers and T'storms. Yard needs mowing. Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas and happy holidays, everyone! We're off to spend the day with family- and eat a lot of good stuff! :) Marc and I gave each other a house this year- so that's all the gifting going on here. :)

I was finishing an important job, in Altoona, yesterday. I went out to the Truck to solder-up the tub/shower valve, and it began to snow. The windless, straight-down snow, in big fluffy, flakes, that can only be a gift from Heaven, after all this lousy rain, and fog. (I Solder outside, because I solder best, when I can have a smokie!) It looked exactly like this sounds; :zen

I did catch a snowflake on my tongue, but Altoona snowflakes aren't as tasty as I recall the snowflakes in Ames were.

Temps in the '40's here. The snow didn't stick around long, but it was very Christmassie!
I surprised my Honey, on our first Christmas, and she was a touch over-whelmed. (No, I do not listen to her about how I spend my $$) Catty-puss Tator played in the refuse;

Donna's Boy-Poose, Dozer, came out of hiding to play, and get loved up, as well!

Rhino that is awesome! What a fabulous representation of Christmas. No presents opened yet; that will happen at the In-laws. My one kitty at Misty got a brushing for Christmas; she is a very fat and happy kitty right now. My other kitty Sylvester is running around still trying to be the center of attention. Just waiting for the wife to finish up getting ready before we head out.
