I finished the Italeri 1/35th scale Opel Blitz early today, here are some pics of it.

Outstanding Les, I know we'll be seeing this again and again on your future photo sessions. :notworthy

Thanks guys! (y)

Yes this model might be seen again in the future but not very often, I don't build very many large scale airplanes to make use of the Opel in my pictures. But I WILL be building my Tamiya Panther later this year and the truck would look right at home next to the Panther. :hmmm

At the very least this model was useful for teaching me some weathering techniques that can be used on my Panther.

You'll really like that Panther kit Les (y)

Thanks Terry!

Moon Puppy,
I have had that Tamiya Panther kit for nearly a decade...its still in its shrink wrapping. My hope is the Panther will be easier to build than the Italeri Opel was.

I hope so! :)

My Panther kit is Tamiya kit#35065-1600...if that helps clear things up.

The work table has been cleaned off (first time in almost a year) and am getting ready to get up to speed on my other new kit, its a real monster of a kit and has some severe problems. :eek:hmy:
Even though its a free kit I may have made a mistake in taking it on.

I can't wait to get back to my comfort zone (airplanes).

A very nice bit of work indeed.
Thanks for sharing and for the inspiration!

Keep up the good work,

Bill

Thanks Christian and Luiz! :)

This will be my last ground vehicle for a while, I want to get back to my comfort zone ASAP.

The Tamiya Panther kit will be built near the end of the year.
