These Go To Eleven TASK COMPLETE!

These Go To Eleven A BRIEF UPDATE

Thanks all, progress was made this afternoon, but no photos yet.

Bob, I'm pretty sure that one came from either MicroMark or Harbor Freight. I've had it a very long time.

These Go To Eleven LIGHTS, CAMMER, ACTION!

OK, yesterday's update was lame. I have such limited modeling time of late, I've gotten lazy about taking SBS photos and just modeling. Here's the results of the latest session, the Fiat went from a pile of parts to looking like something. I robbed a 427 SOHC Ford from a '33 Willys kit and jazzed it up. I hate the look of kit chrome, so this is all Alclad II and Testors Metalizers, with some aluminum parts mixed in.

The blower drive is from Detail Masters, nice piece. :good:

Wiring and fine detailing is still causing issues, I just can't hit small holes like I could when I could see. Much swearing involved. :frantic

Got another day to play at the bench, stay tuned for more updates. Thanks for coming by!

And after further reflection, I've got to go back to my Shopping cart, and add more detail Master stuff, Mighty fine looking :ro: :dude

There's only the blower drive set from Detail Master and the spark arrestor valve cover breathers that I enhanced with punched aluminum discs, the rest of the detailing is scratch built (wires, plumbing and the like). More fun than spending a bunch of cash on parts. B)

These Go To Eleven The Red Rail At The Finish Line

Thanks guys! :D

The red rail has been sitting almost finished for several weeks, finally decided to finish her up. As Tony surmised, the skinny pie crusts would turn to goo at the first burnout, so why not double them up? Here's the final product.

This has been a fun build with lots of twists and turns that should have been a straight line. More to come while we finish the Fiat. Thanks for checking in!
