@James...no problem at all...I´ll do on the next one...I just follow the steps of the old but effective Verlinden way to paint flesh tones with oils...

Hi all!

...I´ll show you how I painted the helmet in a sbs way...

The helmet cover was painted with plane tree autumn camo pattern...at first, the second camo color...





The third camo color,the contours of the second one...





The fourth and the last one...






...the painting job is finished...look the helmet...






...the first step on the weathering process...the FILTER...






...it´s time to work on the helmet straps,doing the leather effects with oils...






...the second step on the weathering...the shadows...






...the third : the highlights (the base color plus white)...






...the last one on the weathering process : the outlining...






...the helmet in it´s final position...

Thanks...Bud,MP and Mike...now I´m working on the tunic...I´m just doing my first attempt with shadows and highlights with acrylics...I´m achiving interesting results that will be posted soon...keep tunning!

The base coat of the Parka´s fur lining was a mixture of Vallejo Black # 950,Chocolate Brown # 70872 and English Uniform # 70921...see the pics:












...the next step...highlights with a mixture of Vallejo German Beige # 70821,Iraqui Sand # 70819 and German Camo Orange # 70824...see the pics...
