Many thanks, my friends! We're getting SNOW today, making the most of the day to stay in. Masked off the areas to get the red, shot a light coat of white first, then a couple light coats of Tamiya Flat Red.
Looks like I didn't blow it up there tight on the underside of the tail, I'll touch that up after everything dries. Next up. black lines. B)

How? I just started with a good coat of Tamiya Khaki Drab and then lightened that mix with a couple drops of Tamiya Buff and sort of filled in the panel centers. Chris suggested a very thin layer of Tamiya Khaki, applied to the panel centers, so I did that too. I am not done with the fade yet, still painting the accents and such. It helps to have the "It's just an eggplane" mindset, kind of takes the pressure off. :gogo :laugh:
