I went and tried some green stuff today in making a canvas cover for this. I need some more practice with it

I marked the outline with a pencil

Then put a roll of green stuff on the turret. If I ever do this again I would fill the gap as I pushed a bunch of the putty into it losing material to make folds with.

I kept working it until I came this. Calling it alright.

Now I want this stuff to dry so I can stick the gun on

Punch and Die sets are a great source for detailing, I just love using mine whenever I can...Have Fun!

That is why I picked up the micro arbor press. It works quite well for this with less possibility of damage to the tools.

Unfortunately the Micro Mart one is pretty much garbage.
