for the chipping/worn effects on the canister, did you just brush it with the worn effects fluid?

What's on the end of that brush in the photo?

@Mike...YESS!...me(this product performs very well) and my wife enjoy it a lot...my wife,because I do not need to use more you hair spray... :laugh:


@Phil...let´s go:

1-I apply the base color (airbrushing)...usually,enamel paint;

2-The worn effects acrylic fluid was applied (airbrushing) over the enamel base paint;

3-After 10 minutes,I apply the final color over the part (airbrushing)...this one must be necessary of acrylic type;

4-After 10 minutes,with a help of an old brush (with care and attention) I remove the last color on strategycal points...

OK?

I was wondering also, looked like some specialized brush, guess you just wore out :fencing ?

Yes,Bob...it was used several times...usually I use it to clean my airbrush :evil:

Hi all!

...well,starting with the flesh tones...this will be the first time that I´ll try the blending acrylic technique...really it´s not so easy...usually I use oils on my projects...but,let´s go...






...my reference is the excelent Jaume Ortiz book about the the painting of the Fallschijäger figures...in its first chapter it deals about painting flesh tones with acrylic paints...

...a view of my palete with all mixings sugested by him...






...I think that more contrast must be achived...what do you think about this...let me known your thoughts...












...on the left the head without the blending...look the diference btween both heads...









...on the next update I´ll show the completed face...see you there...
