BA-64-3SKh Gobi Desert May 1947

BA-64-3SKh

Got the rest of the wheels painted. Test fit with the kits tracks. I fear this will soon come to a halt as I wait for the 3D printed parts!

At first I felt the chipping was a little heavy handed but since you muted the effect I like it much better.

Great to have you back buddy.

Thanks guys.

Tony I over-did it knowing full well what was coming! (In fact they will probably disappear more as I move into pigment territory.)

Looks great.

Not that Soviet Russia designers were concerned with the human capital, but that exhaust is in an odd spot. How do they egress without contacting a searing hot muffler?

In Russia, you want searing hot muffler on the way out...brrr man!

I got it, from the operators manual: "Outside door is Device called wound cauterizer. Very convenient for you comrade. Press against and continue battle!"

It would have been better to put it underneath - but what the heck.

Here is a link to one of my Pinterest Idea boards for this project.

Very cool. I really like all the weathering. I really like the tarp, it looks very realistic.

As I am suffering project ADHD, I have bounced back to this project. I have used Aves Apoxie Sculpt for most if the ground work, with some kitty liter and aluminum oxide thrown in for good measure.
