Ants' "Duel in the sun" dio

Hey thanks very much Ivan, long time no speak, it's good to hear from you.

I attended the Milton Keynes IPMS show today, great show.

Hope to hear from you soon.

A little update. I have now covered the corrugated card with household silver foil (with the matt side out). This should give a realistic base to start painting/weathering

The foil has now had its first coating of rust there will be more coats to follow to add some variation.

I am also going to add a "painted" inner wall of timber to the back wall to break up the "metal work" a bit.

I'm pretty chuffed with the woodwork but think it needs "bleaching "a bit more.

Thanks for looking

Hi Ant.

That looks fantastic. It actually looks like you went out and took a photo of a real corrugated metal roof.

Dreaming of corrugated metal. Really  .

I usually always dream about, , ummm :ermm:, well  .

Never mind.

Ant,
Everything is looking great...
Love the field stone and groundwork.
Love the building (wood and roof).

Hey you need to take a break and look at some of the
legend figures or some of the old Phoenix follies figures...
Might take your mind off the building... :woohoo:  ;)

Shawn

Nice one Shawn - thanks for your comments

I did just Google some of those phoenix follies figures, oooooer, are they 1:1 :eek:hmy:

Cheers

Ant

Sorry Ant,
they are not 1 to 1 scale...
But with your painting skills, they should turn out pretty sweet.
The Legend ones look nice too.
