    Latest Acquisitions Revisited!

We just won't tell the significant other that this brings the stash up to 170 now  I collect old gas station memorabilia so the Texaco Chevy was cool. Now if only I could find 76 model kits or decals...

This and Squadron Mystery Deals are stealing money out of my wallet! Lol

    Latest Acquisitions Revisited!

Well guys, the last two weeks I've been on a bit of a buying frenzy. Here is the outcome so far as well as still waiting on a few things to show up. Squadron mystery deals and eBay have been too tempting :D. -Revell of Germany 1/72 Airbus A400M w/ Scale Aircraft Conversion metal landing gear...

    Tamiya F4U-2 Corsair

What'd you use for the spinner? It looks like real metal and is so shiny; Love the looks of it!

CALL TO ARMS CAMPAIGN SIGN UP

I'm terrible with the whole group build/finishing at all thing but put me down for Trumpeters 1/72 Ilyushin Il-28 'Beagle'. Might throw some detail sets on it too. Even if I don't get started i'm more than happy to donate to the cause!

Thanks for the reply! The car show and remote control airplane gathering look interesting. Like I said, I might need to make a trip down, when the weather gets warmer of course. Josh

    My scratch built tank

WOW! That is absolutely amazing! I am half a second away from buying a room full of styrene and building a million scratch built mech/tanks. That looks amazing, very good job. Ok, I'm doing it. Josh

Dang near neighbors, huh?! I think it's what, maybe a five and a half hour drive? Less than a day away! Lol. I like it down there in your area. Horrible it takes me longer just to travel to Boise. Got any nifty things down there in Enterprise? Might need to take a weekend trip. Josh

    Dragon 1/35 T-34/76 Mod.1941 cast turret

Thanks for the info and tips! Only thing you mentioned I knew about was the cleaning of acrylics with Windex. I knew to clean enamels with thinner, just not the way you mentioned. I made it harder for myself, lol. Josh

    Dragon 1/35 T-34/76 Mod.1941 cast turret

Here it is all green'd up! I think it came out pretty well even though it's all going to get covered up anyways. Few more days and the white will be applied. Sorry for the cell phone pics. It's just easier to do than pull the camera out and upload the images. Finished builds get real camera...

    Dragon 1/35 T-34/76 Mod.1941 cast turret

This kit didn't come with the magic tracks, just the zillion individual links on the sprue I get to cut out and file. My airbrush is VERY crappy to put it lightly. I have used it a handful of times and not had problems with it though. It's not so much airbrushing in general that irritates me...

    Dragon 1/35 T-34/76 Mod.1941 cast turret

Started this awhile ago for a GB on the FSM forums. Had just one or two hiccups along the way as it is my first 1/35 tank kit ever. (I built a 1/72(76) Airfix Sd.Kfz.234 but I don't count it.) I am planning on trying my hand at the hairspray technique as I plan on doing it up in winter camo. I'm...

It's the Dragon 1/35 Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.D 3in1 kit. The box says it has over 1200 parts and the instructions look daunting to say the least. The other two kits that I currently have are: Dragon 1/35 Sd.Kfz.184 Elefant Premium Edition Trumpeter 1/72 USMC LAV-25 My armor stash actually looks quite...

    New from the Northwest

Thanks for the warm welcome guys AND gals! If everyone is this nice everywhere on the forums I'll definitely be sticking around. I have a few ... 3 I believe, armor kits in the stash but I do plan on getting more. Some of them, even one I have, scare the bejeezus out of me looking through the...

    New from the Northwest

Hello everyone! This is my first post here. I've been a member on the FSM and Swanny forums for quite a while and have decided to branch out. I'm usually building aircraft but have lately been on an armor kick. Outside of modeling I like automobiles, specifically auto racing, I like real...
