This is Mirror Models ZiS-30, I plan to paint it in winter camo over threetonal camo... And there will be snow...

I noticed that at every ZiS-30 photo suspension arms form a straight line like at this pic

but Mirror Models made v-shape suspension arms which is suitable for empty T-20, but not for ZiS-30. So I decided to order HB Komsomolets which made straight arms, I hope.

Here are some progress with rear part of SPG

And some with front

Now I am waiting for correct turned gun burrel, mirror models burrel is too short. And I wait for classes dedicated to engines. I'll take a short brake with my ZiS-30.

They certainly made it straight, they are at the bottom center of the upper sprue tree:

Now it's time to see what i've done

During last weekend class I add dust and oil streaks at the engine

I placed engine at it place and made pedals, controls and crew seats

At last we wouldn't see much through open hatches

Now I'm waiting for HB Komsomolets to arrive and for correct length turned barrel...

That motor got more oil leaks than my 77 pickup did.

Now it's time for some pics

The frind of mine gave me the 57-mm gun barrel with thinner end than mirror models. New barrel is at the bottom

I cut out the barrel and glue the brass tube, to accurately combine gun parts

So, the gun is almost done

I recieve HB Komsomolets and going to copy the suspension...
