We all have these rabbit holes we go down on Youtube.
Off road recovery in with Matt and the gang.
Movies I use to love on Turner Classic Movies that I don't get anymore.
Now it's this Haulover Inlet videos of boats trying to navigate the tidal changes. No it has nothing to do with the young girls in bikinis...
@Rhino you'll get a kick out of this one.
A Sea Ray with a 200 Mercury bouncing around on the waves being passed like it's sitting still by a little Coast Guard boat who's cutting the waves like it's a bath tub.

What happened to driving for the comfort of the passengers? Sheesh, that one boat load looked like rag dolls. You're right, Bob, this is a rabbit hole, HA! One good reason to have a Wave Runner instead, nothing but flying over those waves, HA!

The only one that didn't have any issues was the Safe Boat, it just kept on goin.

I love wavy boats. No inane commentary, no ignorant background music. I find the actions of tide and wave soothing.
Notice the Sea Ray 200 has his trim bow-up, no bowriders and picks a good line. A little more power would have served him well. Not one PFD can be seen. Without proper respect and precautions, the sea will kill you.

The USCG 30' RB-S is made for such a ride. Air-ride seats and harnesses for the experienced crew of 4. The first 2 digits of USCG vessels under 100 feet LOA are the length of the boat.

Should have figured you knew about this channel. I guess that's what pulls me in, the waves lapping against the rocks...power boats smashing into waves...
@Steve Ski I think the biggest issue is people renting boats who really don't know what they are doing. Scary to see people holding infants and riding in the bow over these rough waters.
The Blue Top Legend girls have made a business out of it, one of the girls now sales boats and has a commercial license.

Farce Book has something similar with shorts that they run. I have gone down that rabbit hole a number of times. The good thing about it is that I have run across some really NEAT tools and suppliers that I would not have known about otherwise.
