Does anyone here have any idea why the Amazon.ca prices for any AFV Club kit are so darn high?

Gun Ammo, Brass 17 Pounder = CDN$ 93.90
AFV Club 1:35 German 20L & 200L Fuel Drum AF35266 = CDN$ 61.04
Centurion Workable Track Links for all Types = from CDN$ 94.76
AFV Club BOFORS & M42 Ammunition and Accessory Set = CDN$ 106.08
AFV Club Models 1/35 M40A1 & TOW A1 Anti-Tank Weapons = CDN$ 73.28
AFV Club 1/35 105mm Howitzer Ammo & Accessories AF35184 = CDN$ 85.04
AFV Club Models 1/35 IDF Centurion Sho't MK.5 1967 = CDN$ 172.86
http://www.amazon.ca/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Dtoys&field-keywords=afv+club
What gives? Are these all gold plated or something?
Cheers from Peter
