Well this is pretty slick. About an hour to install and everything seems to work okay. A few changes to interface, but that will make it fun to explore.
Anyone else get the free upgrade? What do you think?
JAmes

Yes, the other day.
During the install I had a black screen for 35 minutes (no signal).
Just when I thought this is going wrong, it came to life again, sigh.
Everything works fine, things are at a more logical place.
Except that the Edge-explorer does not accept plug-ins (security ?)
I cant live anymore without the Adblocker, so switched back to Chrome.

Me also ... My NVIDIA On Board GeForce Driver not supported, going to try to download again ... So after I find the ops codes and get it set-up I'll see ... I like the fact that it has fixed my Computer problems that I was Having with Win 7 64 Bit ... :woohoo: (y) :woohoo:

Y'all are brave ones who first venture into the unknown.

Actually I'm on the Win10 development and deployment team at work. We haven't started testing yet, waiting till the end of year fiscal stuff to settle down then start working on it. :geek

Still running on a 12 year old XP machine I built in 2003. If I could fix my plastic crack addiction I would get the credit card all the way paid off and buy/build a new one. :smack

Paul if it ain't broke don't fix it! Soon enough you'll be below the radar screen for viruses. :rotf

Mine is 5 years old and everything seems to be working fine. All my programs and everything all work, slick interface. I like it so far.

Don't really have to worry about viruses now. (no internet :D )

But I do have some new programs and a big upgrade on my main graphics program that need a new system to run. Bigest problem with old machine is not enough memory on it to do what I want. 1Gig don't cut it any more. :S

Dude, 1 G? That is ancient! :eek:ldguy

I am content. Just installed max RAM in both the MacBook Pro (3 years old) and the iMac (6 years old). Hoping to get another 2-3 years out of both.

The church's Dell is running Windows 7 and will continue to do so until the cows come home. If it ain't broke, don't even mess with it! :smack

I'm one who usually procrastinates on stuff like this, I have two computers running XP and two running 7 and as long as I don't have issues I don't intend to create any. I was even more put off after reading this Windows spying Just paranoia, maybe, who knows ?

Following your advice Gary ... " From one Paranoid Schizophrenic to another ... :woohoo:

"Just because you think everyone is out to get you ... Doesn't necessarily mean it's not true " ... :rotf :rotf :rotf

There is one thing about Windows 10 i do not like. When uploading pictures to Facebook,I can only do one at a time. Windows 8,I could click on a bunch of pictures, then click upload.

I said i would wait a while but i installed it 3 days ago....... and and up till now no problems

Meanwhile, evil pixies are slowly corrupting your system and turning it over to the New World Order.

Well fellers the Jury is still out I may have to take my Putter to the expert ... Computer Doc ... seems Microsoft doesn't like my Monitor or my video driver (on-board NVidia GeForce) monitor is Hannspree 21" ... Everything is like Texas Big ... can't get the display to go smaller than 1024 X 768 .... :beer
