willem: Miniart Harley WLA [update september 16]

You know, I remember a figure for the motorcycle who had his foot down and hand out like he was handing something off, or picking it up. I liked that figure because his foot down acted as a kick stand. Had to be a Tamiya figure, if memory serves.

Moon Pup, I think I know the figure, but almost sure he is German....
Not much US drivers around.

There is a US figure like that in the old 1/76 matchbox kits if I can remember it right :geek

Hi all

Some more progress.

Before adding more parts I decided to do some basic painting.
Could be hard to reach later !
In reality the color is a tad more olive, looks kind op greyish on the pics.
Must be the light.

Next: forefork wiring, adding windshield and headlight, leather bags, ammo container,
glossy seal, decals, highlights and shadowing, matt seal, weathering, finishing touches.

And then the figure...

Thanks for looking,

Willem

The Harley is looking quite nice there Willem! (y)

Always have to remind myself just how small these motorcycles are even in 1/35th scale. What maybe 3 inches long?
