Vacation.

I'm not sure if anyone is interested in these, but got back from my vacation and have some pics. Went to Rocky Mountain House to visit my Daughter and Son in Law and then went into the Foothills to Lake Abraham and worked back through Crescent Falls and Fishing lake to home base. Next 2 days went east to the badlands and visited Drumheller and went to the Royal Tyrell Museum to look t dinosaurs and then around to see some hoodoos before we went south to Iron Horse Mall and took in Bass Pro just north of Calgary and then back to RMH. Then home. I'll post a part 2 if there is interest. First time using just my Nikon D5500 camera with an 18-55 and 55-200mm lens.

Fantastic shots James. Look how clear that water is! I bet the water was cold though.

So how did you like it, somewhere you might move to?

I loved it. The water was cold. While fishing at that dock on Fishing Lake a fellow was taking his 2 boys fishing for the first time. The boys left with mom and a good sized trout took the line and rod. Dad jumped in and lost his glasses Fish jumped a couple of times before it spit out the hook but dad was in a while trying to find glasses. Son in Law jumped in to help and both were white as sheets and attested to how cold glacier fed water was.

I would consider somewhere down there and we looked at a few houses and trailers. Will probably move at some point.

You're going to need a UHaul just for your stash. :rotf

Good to hear James. Great fish story also. :dude

It looks like you had a great time and got some great shots of the Rockies! (y) :drinks

Those are some awesome shots you took. I especially love the mountain pics. I wonder if glacier water from the stream is drinkable? Sure would be nice and cold!
