Took a drive on Mothers Day

Me and the Mrs. went down to Alabama to visit the wifes family for Mothers Day. It's a 200 mile plus drive and decided to take our '66 Mustang for the long cruise. Although the car is in top condition this was the longest trip it's been on since we've had it and I'm getting a little long in the tooth to be on the side of the road with a broke down hotrod. But it perfomed flawlessly and we had a ball. Even had a couple of Alabama's finest checking it out when we stopped for some lunch  ;) I spotted the old Bell Huey sitting out front of a VFW in Jacksonville AL. and the wife snapped the shot. Thanks Erik, Gatto and Mike (y) It's got a long way to go to be the car I see in my dreams but it is a nice Mustang. It's been rust free it's entire life and is all original cept for the paint, dual exhaust and wheels. With that said I would trade even for a fastback in rough condition :D
