Today was a productive day

Some how, I ended up doing nothing but working on figures today. If I didnt know any better, I'd almost think I was a figure modeler. Only problem is I have yet to ever actually complete one. These 8 are the most progress I've ever made on figure's.

Figures.jpg

Back row are both 120mm. Left is US Navy Top Gun pilot and right is I believe called SAW Gunner, I cant find the box.

2nd Row. Left most fig is from Seminar Resin in Korea. I've had that fig for probably close to 15 years. The other three are from a single set "US Troops Desert Shield". They are all going to go into a small diorama that I have planned, as soon as I can find a Humvee model w/ either an M60 or a 50 caliber for the gun turret.

The front row, the 2 on the left are SS Infantrymen and the 2 on the right are German Infantry Winter Dress.

Spent my day today working w/ the milliput, filling in all the gaps between the various pieces. Last thing I did tonight, was mix up a bottle of Floquil grey primer, that might go down tomorrow. All the pieces still need to be cleaned to remove all the dust & garbage from them, probably try to do that in the morning when I get up, so that by tomorrow afternoon they'll all be dry and ready to paint.

ADAM ,

Time consuming .. Yes .. but it will pay off in th end. It looks like you got a good start on it !! I'm lookin forward to seein these develop !

Not a huge deal of progress made today, but I did get all of the figures primed, and thankfully, most of 'em look pretty good, and wont require much, if any work before I start painting.

However, the 120mm pilot still needs a fair bit of filler work on the arms before I can start painting.

The next big step is figuring out how to paint them. I'm trying to find guides & such that give suggested colors for various things, and then figuring out what paints I ahve in my collection.
