Hither and yon, many moons ago, in search of tiny Tiger tanks went Rhino with his most trusted friends on a safari. Hobby shops in more than 5 states were searched. Model contest vendors were interrogated. collectors questioned. For Rhino feared these tiny Tiger tanks kits may go "extinct".
Verily, Brothers, these were much simpler times. Days before internet was much in use in Rhino's humble country home. He did not fear technology. He clearly chose NOT to use it.

HA! I bet you guys thought I would build another resin TLAR Model for this campaign!

Nay my fellows, this month Rhino builds, at long last, the tiny Tiger tank of Tunisia!!:yipee::Drinks::salute:

The most sneeze-susceptible Tiger I might be the one on the Nickle.
The fit of the DML Tiger I is really nice! One joint across the back of the hull to be concerned about is all. In the spirit of sneeze-proofing, I put a bit of wheel weight in the lower hull. Thanks Dave! The box art shows the DAK Tiger I 112, sans front fenders, but the instructions don't tell you to remove them. The photo agrees with the instructions.

The detail on the PVC tracks is really fine. I won't be using the included PEE. It would cover the finely molded tow cables. We can't have that, can we? Overall, it's a pretty good kit!

Tanks again for looking in!!

I wanted my turret to be secure and still rotate. A little plastic tube extension will get a retaining ring after the upper hull and turret are painted. another chunk of wheel weight to give the turret a little heft. Installing the 88 was a breeze! it only fits one way. My black sharpie to accent the barrel seam and some gentle sanding/scraping to get rid of the seam. The muzzle brake and bore are molded hollow. Really a nifty lil' kit!
That's all the tiny Tiger I for today! Tanks again for looking in!

Tiny Tiger tanks only need a teensie bit of paint. My Model Master sandgelb is dated 8/2013. I sprayed it with my big-boy airbrush to keep from soaking the little model. The gun barrel looked pretty good but the muzzle brake needed more attention.
Tanks again for looking in!

I hunted for a DAK emoji and came up empty.
