Not good news out of Kabul this morning. 2 bombs. A number of US troops and Afghan civvies killed. Thoughts and prayers. I think it can only get worse but hope it settles down a bit.

That's what i meant it could easily been us, We have 1000+ paratroopers at the airport. Basically troops from 16 Air Assault Brigade.
I gather we were just on a different gate to the airfield.
 
We have Aussie troops on the ground as well evacuating people and supporting the other troops - a bit of a worry. I hope that we can all get out of there without more casualties.
