This is a tough one

The Lear that went down yesterday was like a missile hitting the ground. Max AB gives a really good unofficial break down with the open-source evidence at hand.
6:44 starts the critical phase of events.

Prayers out to family and friends of the victims of his horrific crash.

Mach Tuck is a bitch, man.
Remember the stories about P-38 drivers encountering elevator compressibility in a high speed dive, near Mach 1? How the only guys that lived through it figured out elevator trim tab adjustments could pull her out if they had enough time and altitude, before the little dive braking flaps were installed? These folks quickly ran all the way out of both.
The radio comm's with ATC send a solid chill down my spine.

Now, consider the crash site. By blind luck, the hand of God, or both, the Lear hit the shoulder of the road, not the trailer park or the middle of the busy highway. If there is a silver lining to a terrifying way to be killed, this must be it.
God rest these people.

The guy pointed out that it looked like the elevator assembly on top of the rudder fin was missing. Can't pull out if there is nothing to pull out with.
