Welcome to The New TMD
We are proud and excited to announce The New TMD is now in business. We are a new company formed by Joe Bakanovic the former owner of Tiger Model Designs. After two months of hard work we have resurrected the old Tiger Models product line and are back in production. We also have a new site under the domain www.newtmd.com.
Our plans for the future are more focus on 1/48th and 1/32ns scale aircraft and eventually, even 1/350 scale watercraft upgrades. We will plan to also continue our extensive line of 1/35th scale armor detail parts and complete kits. There will be some exciting announcements regarding both soon.
We hope to be more closely engage with the modeler in product development. We are always happy to hear new product ideas and we welcome new pattern makers. We will be actively participating in the popular modeling websites asking and answering questions and holding contests.
In the near future we will be investing in high-end 3D scanning and printing technology. That means we will be able to bring new products out faster and more accurately than before. Our goal is to have upgrades and conversion out for new mainstream kits within a month of their release.
