The Duke's Latest Finished Models

Duke Maddog

Well-known member
Despite difficulties and issues keeping me from the workbench; I still managed to squeeze some time in to finish some up. These are the latest armor models to be delivered to my armies.

First up, my United States Army took delivery of this Armory Models 1/72 scale M-41 Walker Bulldog:

I know there should be a Ma Deuce on top of that but the resin and photo-etch parts for that were just a bit too daunting for me to try right now. Later, when I can go through my parts stash, I'll find something easier to mount.

Next, my Australian Army took delivery of this ACE 1/72 scale Centurion Mk.5LR:

My British Army then took delivery of two vehicles. The first one was this ACE 1/72 scale Centurion Mk.5:

The second vehicle that they received was this FV-4005 "JS Killer", based on the Centurion Hull:

And now back to the bench to see how many more I can finish.

Thanks all for looking in, comments are welcome.

Thank you everyone for the wonderful comments and compliments.

Bob, I shall do my best to keep it rolling; and as for the eggs; I was scared back then. Watching everyone on the LEM do what they did sure helped me get over that. You all motivated me to do better back then and it is still happening today

Thank you Saul! I'm trying to improve, and so far it seems to be working. I got a First place at Orangecon for the first time in 26 years of entering!

Thank you Kenny and Martin! Martin, I'm trying to be productive but the mojo had been taking a beating lately. Thank God for Hobby Day this past weekend; I did finally get a few things done. Stay tuned for forthcoming updates.

Having been away for a 5-6 year gap the difference with dukes builds is astounding. decals straight, weathering subtle, joins are really good and even the photography is 100%, and all in 1/72 which i would find daunting TBH.:vgood:

Thank you Paddy! Wow, I hadn't realized I'd improved in so many areas according to you. I did actively search for a decent camera to shoot good pics though. Now I hope to get this much and more done next week after all the craziness this week is over.

Thank you Joe. Give me you e-mail address and I can try and write one up for you. It's surprisingly easy enough if you pay attention to what you're doing, it just gets a bit tedious after all, especially when doing more than two pies! :silly: :victory:
