The Duke's Latest Armor Completed. Now 659 Done

Finally, after such a long time, I'm able to post some finished armor! This takes my final count of finished armor models up to 659 completed armor models.

I'll start with some of my WWII-era models, mostly German with one Russian beast included.

Whew! That is all the armor I completed in the last week and a half. Only 41 more armor models to go until 700! I also completed a few aircraft, feel free to check them out in Wesendorf Field as well. Meanwhile, thanks for looking in, comments are welcome.

As always Duke, you have done a fabulous job on all that WWII armor. I never really considered doing anything from the wrong side of the Curtain, so Russian subjects were always out of the question for my, not to say that I don't think that yours aren't any good. Quite the opposite,dude, they are fantastic.

Thanks Willem! I enjoyed that little T-35; all those slab-sided skirts was just begging for some serious weathering. I tried hard to nail it; thanks for confirming that i came close.

Thanks Luiz! I appreciate the compliments. I store them all on floor-to-ceiling shelves mounted on two walls of my Hobby Room. As for taking a photo of all of them together on one table; I did that about two and a half years ago. It took four tables to hold them all. You can see that pic of my whole collection here:



Mind you, I have finished another 114 armor models since that pic above has been taken; including a 1/72 scale Dora rail gun. Once I complete a total of 700 armor models; I'll gather them together and take another massive group shot like the pic above. I'll probably need six tables this time!


Thanks Dave! I appreciate it very much. I didn't really put much effort into the WWII German vehicles; except the gun. I'm just burned out on WWII German tanks and such, since it seems everyone building small scale armor is building WWII German tanks! It was more fun for me to build the modern stuff and the T-35.
