The bitter end, a Panzer III in Tunisia

This is a Panzer III M from the end of the campaign in North Africa. Some M models were sent, being diverted from Russia where the built in wading features made more sense.

I used the old DML "Imperial Series" kit and added some scratch building, spares and TLC.

Paint is MM Acryl "Sand" for the RAL 8020 and a mix of MM "Armor Sand", "Sand" and a drop of "Dark Gray" for the RAL 7027.

Weathering was accomplished with oils, enamels and I will be adding some pigments shortly.

Now on to Uncle Tony's SPG Campaign!

Thank you all!

I decided she was a smidge too clean. I added some mud mixed from white glue, pigments and acrylic craft paint. I was looking for that damp mud look.
