Tamiya Panzer IV

I have been working on this “queen” on-and-off for several years. :idonno
I may still do some more weathering on it, but for the time being, let’s call her done.

I did some minor scratch building. Metal hooks for the cable on the rear and some styrene angle stock to make the spare track holder on the front deck. It’s pretty much stock other than that. The figure is from the kit. I added the headphones (from a dragon set) and cables. The hull bottom was an experiment with the hairspray technique in a couple of layers. Silver with release sprayed with red primer. Sprayed with release again and then sprayed with the yellow hull color.

Feel free to question or comment. Thanks as always for looking. (y)

Cheers,

Bill

I like that you include a frog's view of your work (the bottom). This is one of Tamiya's nicer kits.

Regards,

I knew those jerry cans were stout but dang! :woohoo:

Love that layered effect, would look great on a bulldozer blade. :notworthy :notworthy

Thanks Mike. :good:
Thanks Saul. (y)

Thanks Bob. It's actually probably too much for a hull bottom. If he was dragging that much, his tracks would have been spinning. All in good fun though.

Thanks Raiderfan. Appreciated.
Thanks you Luiz. It was no match for you southpole IV, but I tried. :notworthy

Cheers,

Bill

Thanks Sherm.
Thanks James.
Plugging away at this has given me a little more confidence to wrap some other things up (and start some new ones! )
Every fresh start holds the promise of a masterpiece. (If I can just figure out how to get my hands to do what my brain wants :gogo  )

See you down the road,

Bill

Your hands always humble your minds eye Bill or is it my minds eyes always humble my hands. :idonno

Anyway I have the same handicap as you my friend.
