Continuing the trip down memory lane, a M13/40 of the 6th Australian Divisional Cavalry.
Additions to the basic kit include the tow cable, scratch-built tools, lead foil exhausts and ID pennant, plastic rod antenna and an Ultracast North Africa Tank Crewman. The tank was painted with ModelMaster Acrylics and weathered with a combination of washes, drybrushing and pastels. The crewman was painted with artist oils. The base is a dollar store plaque, stained and sealed. The large rocks are plaster casts from Woodland Scenics molds and glued to the base with epoxy. A layer of Celluclay was applied followed by a mixture of kitty litter (unused and non-clumping) and fine railroad ballast. When dry it was painted a suitable base desert colour with artist acrylics followed by washes and drybrushing.
Cheers,
Rich
